Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-05
This Privacy Policy explains how ArcadeGrid ("we", "us", or "arcadegrid.net") handles information when you visit our site and play HTML5 games supplied by third-party providers. We try to keep this short, accurate, and free of legal waffle. If anything is unclear, contact us at hello@arcadegrid.net.
What we collect directly
ArcadeGrid does not require an account, does not have a sign-up form, and does not collect any personal information you actively submit. We do not run a newsletter, do not store payment details, and do not ask for your email or name.
Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard server logs when you load a page — your IP address, the time of the request, the page you requested, the referring page, and your browser's user-agent string. These logs are used to diagnose errors and detect abuse. They are retained for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.
Third-party game providers
The games on ArcadeGrid are embedded via GamePix using an HTML iframe. When you load a game page, your browser contacts GamePix's servers directly to fetch and render the game. GamePix may set cookies or use local storage in their iframe to save your in-game progress, serve advertising, and track performance metrics. GamePix is the data controller for any information collected inside that iframe; we do not have access to it. See GamePix's privacy policy for details.
Advertising
ArcadeGrid is supported by advertising. Two distinct ad surfaces may appear on the site:
- Inside the game iframe: ads served by GamePix through their network of authorised sellers (listed in our ads.txt file). These may include video, banner, or rewarded ads.
- Around the game iframe (page ads): in the future ArcadeGrid may run display ads via networks such as Google AdSense. When those ads are live, they may use cookies to personalise content based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings or via the Digital Advertising Alliance.
If you are accessing ArcadeGrid from the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, our ad partners are required to obtain consent before using cookies for personalised advertising. A consent banner will appear when applicable.
Cookies
ArcadeGrid uses a minimal first-party cookie set by Google Analytics 4 to count anonymous page views and measure aggregate traffic. We do not use this data to identify you personally or build a behavioural profile, and we do not share it with third parties beyond Google's standard analytics pipeline. You can opt out of Google Analytics globally via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Other cookies that may appear on the site are set by the embedded GamePix iframe (for game state) or, in the future, by ad networks. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time without losing access to the games.
Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Because we do not collect personal data directly, most data-subject rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data — are exercised against our processors (Vercel for server logs, GamePix and ad partners for their respective cookies), not against ArcadeGrid. To exercise rights against those processors, see their privacy policies linked above.
If you have a question about how ArcadeGrid handles data, you can email us at hello@arcadegrid.net.
Children's privacy
ArcadeGrid is a general-audience site and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a third-party iframe on our site has collected information from your child, please contact us and we will work with the relevant provider to investigate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page or via a banner.
